Our bands of Quarter Horse mares are bloodlines that  pre-date the AQHA.  All but  a few qualifiy for  the STEEL DUST HORSE ASSOCIATION in which there isn't any Thoroughbred foaled after 1939 anywhere in their pedigree. SDHA books are to close in 2008.
